Rob started in the digital world as Photography editor at his university. After graduation spent several years in the commercial photography field learning and honing his expertise in Adobe Photoshop and other graphics applications. He went on from there to fulfill the position of Network Manager for a publishing company.
Rob left that position to start training computer graphics and the Adobe application around the United States and Canada. He spent almost 4 years training on the road, during which time he trained over 14,000 people during seminars and conferences. He was a keynote speaker at various Photoshop conference during this time as well.
With a desire to be around and spend time with his soon to be expanding family, Rob quit traveling full-time in 2001. He then joined a local consulting company in his home of Kansas City where he spent three years consulting and training companies of all sizes. During this time Rob fulfilled training for 3 of the Josten's Yearbook plants around the country. He also acquired, wrote and delivered the training for all Mac users at Hallmark Cards, Inc. in Kansas City during their migration to Mac OS X.
Rob has had his own company since his days of travel, and went back to it full-time in April of 2004. Rob and his wife Lisa took the step of incorporating Minpin Graphics into Minpin Technologies, Inc. in June of 2004.
Rob has been married to his beautiful wife, Lisa, since 2005 and the have had two sharp, young boys (Caleb 3 1/2 and Joshua 2 1/2) together with one more on the way. They also have 3 miniature pinschers in their household (Joey 9 1/2, Roo 9 and Rex 6), which provided the inspiration for the company name.
Rob loved school and has a continued passion for learning, sharing his knowledge and helping people get the most from their computers and software. Some of Rob's hobbies include: racquetball and competition shooting and riding his 1978 Kawasaki motorcycle.
